Nature Discovery Park

 

The Nature Discovery Park, covering an area of 11,2 hectares, is rather like an expansion of the municipal park "In Bedigen" and is linked to the footpaths of the surroundings. The Nature Discovery Park has twelve interactive points which provide visitors with information on issues relating to nature, water, fields full of flowers and the bird songs, amongst other things. The highlights of the Nature Discovery Park are certainly the unavoidable Diekirch donkeys and the impressive Scottish Highland Cattles.

Angling

 

Fishing is permitted on the river "Sûre" from Ettelbrück to Moestroff and from Reisdorf to Wallendorf-Pont (infos). For any person older than fourteen years a fishing permit is required.

The fishing permit, valid for 1 month, is available at the Tourist Office (3 € licence + 1 € handling charges).

Admission fees:

beach and swimming pool: 4 € adults, 2 € children
only swimming pool (2 hours): 3 € adults, 1,50 € children
sauna and swimming pool: 7 € adults (children younger than 5 years only under supervision of an adult)
